YOGA RETREAT IN TULUM

ACCOMODATIONS
We will be staying at a sacred wellness retreat center in Tulum whose name translates in English to "Spirit." This center is surrounded by jungle but right on the beach and you will have access to swim in the healing, pure turquoise ocean waters at your leisure daily. We will eat our meals at tables right in front of the ocean! We will do our daily yoga + healing classes in the yoga pavilion located ocean front. The space also has a number of salt water pools. It is a mindful space that is perfect for relaxing, connecting with yourself and enjoying nature.
The space provides opportunity for connection and also privacy. Instead of staying in a large home, Shawna has chose to led her retreat at this center because each retreat goer will get their own private "home" (a bungalow or suite) and private bathroom and lounge area. They are separate, stand alone "houses." You will have space for yourself to do as you wish and come together as much as you want with the group.
The retreat center is located in Tulum National Park: it is a 10 minute walk to the ancient ruins from your "home" and you can see them from the beach when you go out for a swim. The energy here is incredible. This area is also gated and only those staying at the retreat center get access here making this location extremely safe (Tulum, as a whole, is very safe, but this area is the safest).

There are a few accommodation options to choose from at different price points + preferences. All of the accommodations are beautiful, comfortable, private and have electricity, private bathrooms and WIFI. Please note that each bungalow or suite can be shared (and when you share you will have a discounted rate) but each bungalow only has only one queen or king sized bed therefore if you are sharing a bungalow or suite, you must share a bed.
BUNGALOW
Private: $2500 / Shared: $2100 a person
377 SqFt: Delightful Mayan style rooms, nestled among gardens, just a few steps from the turquoise blue waters of the Caribbean. With direct access to the pool, these comfy rooms are appointed with top level amenities like organic toiletries, air conditioner, Queen bed, outdoor private bath and mini fridge.
GARDEN MAYAN SUITE
Private: $2600 Shared: $2200 a person
807 SqFt: Perfectly located, just a few steps from the Caribbean Sea. It has its own private patio, beautiful gardens. Private bathroom and shower outside to enjoy nature at its best. Great for a relaxing trip either as a couple or just by yourself. A large bedroom with one Queen Bed, air conditioner, and in-room mini fridge round up the amenities for this well-appointed suite.

JUNGLE MAYAN SUITE with lookout tower

807 SqFt: Located in paradise. Enjoy life in the jungle and reconnect with Mother Earth. This amazing cabin has a Lookout Tower were you can enjoy the quietness and tranquility of the Jungle that surrounds you, in addition, you will rejoice with the wonderful sunsets of the site. Queen size bedding, outdoor private bath, air conditioner, in-room mini fridge round up the amenities for this suite.
PLUNGE POOL MAYAN SUITE
Private: $2950 Shared: $2500 a person
1,022 SqFt Surrounded by lush private gardens, this peaceful suite puts you in touch with nature, without sacrificing comfort or amenities. King Size bedding, private outdoor bath, mini-fridge, air conditioner, mini bar and a private plunge pool, perfect for unwinding after a hot day in the sun.
TREEHOUSE WITH PRIVATE POOL + LOOK OUT TOWER
Private: $3500 Shared: $3025 a person
1,022Sq Ft Experience peace and comfort among the treetops of the Mayan Jungle. These amazing suites are set just steps from the beautiful Tulum Beach, set up high in order to better catch the breeze of the ocean, the sound of the waves and sunsets to die for. Equipped with a King size bed, Air conditioning, in-suite private bathroom with organic toiletries, ceiling fan a private plunge pool on the ground floor and a lookout tower to relax, meditate or just catch glimpses of the ocean and the sunsets.
OCEAN FRONT CABANA WITH PRIVATE POOL
Private: $3695 Shared: $3200 a person
1,130 Sq Ft: This bungalow has the best location oil paradise , directly facing the ocean, walk out of your sliding door into a deck with private plunge pool and a few steps more and your feet are on the cool white powder sand of the Tulum beach. King Size bedding, in-suite private bathroom, air conditioner, mini bar and organic toiletries round up the amenities of Ikal’s premiere suites.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Arrival: You can come to the property any time after 12 noon on October 23. Your room will be ready at 3 PM. Our first class will start at 5 PM + dinner will be served at 6:00 PM.
Departure: a yoga class, breakfast, and closing circle will be provided on Oct. 27 and the retreat will be officially over at 11 am; however you can relax on the property until 3 pm if you wish.

Extra private services offered by Shawna or the retreat center including Mayan healing services like sweat lodge, sacred massages and more (you do get a discount on these offerings).together and Oct. 27 we will have breakfast together). There is a snack bar on property with yummy teas, acacia bowls, local favorites and smoothies along with a mini-bar in your bungalow or suite.
Transportation (Retreat-goers should fly in to the Tulum International Airport and then take a shuttle or cab to the retreat center. We can arrange airport transfer for you for a discounted rate. It is not necessary for you to have a car once you get to the property as you can walk to the Mayan Ruins and transportation will provided for our other excursions. If you wish to leave the property, we can set you up with a transfer company. There will be plenty of down time to explore the are if you wish but staying on property will provide more than you need (there are a number of pools, the beautiful white sand beach and turquoise Caribbean, mediation shala, volleyball, a number of salt water pools. As noted, we are staying in Tulum National Park + the ruins are a 10 minute walk (The are cliffside on the beach and a beautiful place to journal or meditate). There is local shopping in walking distance. More details can be provided if requested. If you would like to rent a car, you can at your own expense but there is free parking. -

The trip is nonrefundable but the funds are transferable for up to two years if you have a documented ER on why you cannot attend.
