Ginger CO2 oil is made with the help of CO2 gas. In this process, the dry ginger root powder is put into the long cylinders, and CO2 gas is released under high temperature and controlled pressures. This brings the CO2 to a liquid state which helps to extract the oil from Ginger root. The whole process to make CO2 oil is more expensive than steam distilled ginger oil, but the oil is considered one of the best oils in potency and well as in therapy. Ginger CO2 is more yellowish in color than the steam distilled ginger and has more consistency.
