This lavender was cultivated at an altitude above 2000 meters (6561 feet) in the Kashmir Himalaya mountains. Snow is needed for the best grade of lavender. The oil is distilled in June-July. Then it “rests” for a month to mature. This lavender is 100% organic growing wild high in the Himalayas free from pollution.
