This is a very rare and gorgous flower that has a smell that is literally like none other. The second I smelled her, I was like " WHAT IS THAT! I MUST HAVE IT." I could barely say her name and told my teacher "I need that flower that starts with an O." 
 
I saw her pricetag and was a little turned off (but now I understand what I was paying for: her precious flowers are rare and must be distilled at a certain time. Many, many flowers are in each drop and she is very  strong but gentle). I invested in her and later learned she is medicine for bringing patience to the mind and the heart. I needed this badly in my life and she taught me the ways. 
 
Osmanthus is known to be "hypnotic"  and "euphotic" entrancing you to a place of open heartedness and loving wisdom. 
 
Her medicne  addresses anxiety because she is a high nervine, She calms the heart and is also an aphrodisiac that allows  you feel great closeness to others. 
 
Osmanthus absolute is made from the flowers of the Osmanthus tree. The height of the flower tree grows upto 30 feet which makes the plucking process difficult. With the help of long sticks flowers are harvested after mid to late autumn (November- December ) and used to make absolute. Osmanthus fragrant flowers are orange-yellow in color. They have a strong flowery scent and in a day upto 1kg of flowers can be collected from one tree.  Do you know around 3500 Kg of flowers are needed to make 1 Kg of Osmanthus flower absolute? This is why this amazing oil costs what it costs!
