Turmeric CO2 oil is made with the help of CO2 gas. In this process, the powder from the root of turmeric is put into the long cylinders, and CO2 gas is released under high temperature and controlled pressures. This brings the CO2 to a liquid state which helps to extract the oil from the turmeric root. The whole process to make CO2 oil is more expensive than steam distilled turmeric root oil, but the oil is considered one of the best oils in potency and well as in therapy compared to steam distilled. Turmeric CO2 is yellow in color just like turmeric powder, and can leave a faint yellow mark on the skin. Be ensure to dilute it in the right ratio with seed oil before use to avoid leaving a "stain" on the hands.
