
YOGA RETREAT IN YOSEMITE
May 14-17, 2026
Come to one of the most beautiful places in the country, the Yosemite National Park area. This peaceful, relaxing, and grounding yoga retreat combines nature, yoga and holistic health for a fun + restorative 4 days, 3 nights with Shawna + John. Each day has scheduled events + free time so you can get the most from your time on this relaxing escape in nature.
DAY 1
4:30 PM: Check in + snacks
We will then do a relaxing and restorative yoga class designed for after-travel body and mind care (at Shawna+ John’s yoga studio: Yosemite Yoga + Wellness), followed by intention setting and journaling, free time and then a delicious and healthy dinner together as we get to know one another.
DAY 2:
We start our day with morning yoga + meditation followed by a yummy breakfast
Later, we will head to Bass Lake for a picnic by the lake. After this excursion, you will have free time where you can continue to hike in the area and enjoy nature, explore the town, come back to Shawna and John’s studio to take a private outdoor sauna session or sound massage session, soak at the cabin's hot tub, read a book or just relax in your own way. Dinner will be served later in the evening, followed by a relaxing sound bath session or if weather permits, an earlier session of a floating sound bath in the pool.
Day 3:
We start our day early with yoga + a healthy breakfast and then make our way to Yosemite National Park. Our first stop will be the Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias which is home to over 500 giant Sequoia Trees. Then we make our second stop to the Yosemite Valley Floor where you will see beautiful waterfalls. We will eat a picnic lunch. Please note, this day includes hiking. You will then have the rest of the day to explore the National Park on your own or explore the cute surrounding mountain towns. Dinner is on your own if you'd like to explore the town or great restaurants near by (we will give you our suggestions: but snacks and a casual dinner will be at the cabin if you'd like to come back and relax.
Day 4:
8 am yoga + sound healing following by a family style brunch. We will reflect on our trip, revisit our intentions, set new ones for the future and enjoy our time together before check out at 11 am.
