Internships provide an incubator to learn and grow in the field in which you are entering or work in. The studio is happy to offer internships when the opportunity arises to teach those interested or currently working in the field of holistic health. The expereince will provide a suppoetive place to learn parts of the business of yoga in a hands on way.
Commitment: minimum once a week shift (for a minimum of 15 shifts)
Requirements: Running a business is liking parenting a child in many ways. The position asks to "mother" or "father" the studio watching over it, operating in its best interest to grow, strive and stay healthy. You must operate with love, respect and giving selflessly to the community. Service is a strong characteristic for a yoga teacher to have and to show up and serve with loyalty and focus to provide.
Must:
Have good customer service skills
Be good with technology

Know how to answer questions about the studio/yoga
Live close to the studio (We are located in Imperial Beach)

Internship positions:
Back of House/Business of Running a Studio: Understand what it takes for the logistics and "back of house" of running a yoga studio and healing center. This includes everything from learning software and protocol for taking attendance, selling at the store, booking appointments, following and being inspired to create your own polices, rules and protocol, customer service, organization and cleaning and more.
Teaching of Yoga: Learn how to + practice planing, creating and teaching safe, effective and meaningful yoga classes, workshops + private sessions that meet the description of the class and the students in attendance. Take feedback to learn and improve. Support the community through yoga. Must be previously certified or currently completing certification with YWS.
Facilitating of Sound Healing: Learn how to + practice planing, creating and teaching safe, effective and meaningful sound healing classes, workshops + private sessions that meet the description of the class and the students in attendance. Take feedback to learn and improve. Support the community through sound healing. Must be previously certified or currently completing certification with YWS.
Facilitating of Reiki: Learn how to + practice planing, creating and providing safe, effective and meaningful classes, circles, workshops and private sessions that meet the description of the class and the students in attendence. Take feedback to learn and improve. Support the community through reiki and energy work. Must be previously certified or currently completing certification with YWS.
Facilitating of Breathwork Learn how to + practice planing, creating and teaching safe, effective and meaningful breathwork classes, workshops + private sessions that meet the description of the class and the students in attendance. Take feedback to learn and improve. Support the community through sound healing. Must be previously certified or currently completing certification with YWS.
Facilitating of Aromatherapy : Learn how to + practice planing, creating and teaching safe, effective and meaningful aromatherapy classes, workshops + private sessions that meet the description of the class and the students in attendance.
