Basil (Sweet)


Basil is one of the holy herbs. There are two most common varieties of basil which are used widely: Sweet Basil  and Holy Basil. IBoth are considered holy due to the presence of more oxygen in the leaves of the plant and various health benefits this brings to humans. That is why Basil Plants are planted in the front garden of many homes in India, Nepal, and Sri Lanka. The leaves of the plants are used to make tea, soup, and special herbal preparation during viral issues. Essential oil of sweet basil is most beneficial for uplifting the mood and making it calm.
